Has anyone used Carlin Equities (www.carlingroup.com)? This is the firm owned by Mayer Offman who was featured in the BusinessWeek article referred to in this post - http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?threadid=870. They have an order entry system that interfaces with eSignal called GOES. The first problem I saw was that it did not appear to support SOES order entry. I called them, however, and they said that it in fact does. A real person even answered the phone on the first ring!! Carlin uses SLK for clearing. I know they are huge with NYSE. Any idea how they would be for OTC? Would they have a lengthy short list?
