Im sure Trump is a criminal but in this instance I called him a crook. As you can see below I’ve already addressed the cases were settled. In the fraud case he paid out and in the self dealing case the judge imposed fines and ordered his foundation dissolved.
My mistake. Please clarify the difference between a crook and a criminal so that we can move forward. Then he paid the civil penalties necessary to resolve the situation. But no criminal charges were brought forth. Hence, he is not a criminal. Since you apparently have some differentiation coming between "criminal" and "crook", there might be something to him being a crook but not a criminal. Though I cannot imagine what that would be. I look forward to your educating us.
That is an excellent comparison, Here4money. See, I believe OJ was a murderer and should have been convicted based on the evidence in regards to his ex-wife. But he wasn't. So no matter what I believe he was not a criminal at that point. Later, I was not surprised when he was convicted of robbery and kidnapping - because I always "knew" him to be a criminal. But now, he is.
Glad we have your admission on how you're defending distinctions without a difference and think Trump is a criminal you gladly voted for and supported
He may not be a convicted criminal - that is true. Still doesn’t mean he is not a crook or take away from his having engaged in white collar crimes.
And round and round we go. So if he is not a convicted criminal, he is not a criminal. If you are convinced he is a crook, that is fine. But that is your opinion.
No. It is not my opinion Trump engaged in fraud and self dealing. But let’s get to the crook part. Is fraud and self dealing dishonest?
