Car dealers won't trade-in your SUV anymore

  2. A Ford Econoline would fit that bill perfectly. Today's cargo van is tomorrow's mobile estate. It also helps that you can buy one in good shape for a couple grand.

  4. A lot of people in Europe now driving import SUV's from US...it seems they are cheep buy

  8. GNOME----- You're supposed to drive South for the Winter in order to avoid using the heater and defroster. :)

    conversion cost about 1K if you DYI.not much to poof. but in general-i agree. plus- if # of grease monkeys grows significantly-there is will be some regulations and restrictions-no doubt about it

  10. An excellent point. However, it must be weighed against how much more likely you are to become homeless feeding an SUV's insatiable appetite.
