A Ford Econoline would fit that bill perfectly. Today's cargo van is tomorrow's mobile estate. It also helps that you can buy one in good shape for a couple grand.
buy a diesel, convert to a grease car. then you can live free next to Macdonald's http://www.greasecar.com/kit_detail.cfm?prodID=24 how about this one- http://www.greasecar.com/profile.cfm?profileID=41
The # of people trying this grows. Until places like McDonald's decide to recycle old grease to run their own heating/fuel needs. Then the money spent converting will go POOF
GNOME----- You're supposed to drive South for the Winter in order to avoid using the heater and defroster.
conversion cost about 1K if you DYI.not much to poof. but in general-i agree. plus- if # of grease monkeys grows significantly-there is will be some regulations and restrictions-no doubt about it
An excellent point. However, it must be weighed against how much more likely you are to become homeless feeding an SUV's insatiable appetite.
