  1. "The Obama administration is considering asking Congress to give the Treasury secretary unprecedented powers to initiate the seizure of non-bank financial companies, such as large insurers, investment firms and hedge funds, whose collapse would damage the broader economy, according to an administration document.

  2. Capitalism was raped & killed under Bush. Because al these fucking piece of shit companies from General Motors to Citigroup should have been in Chapter 11. (Well, Chapter 7 in GM's case.)

I don't fucking care if it would have resulted in Great Depression II. The system should have been allowed to fail to preserve Capitalism.

  5. I believe we have a socialism for a few individuals and capitalism for many. This to me is the best system to keep a group of individuals with all eco/pol power.

HOW MANY DIFFERENT CAPITALIST SYSTEMS ARE OUT THERE??

  7. Clearly, a Great Depression does not occur in a vacuum and is not merely a financial event that effects corporate America.

It also affects men, women, and children.

Do you not think that there would be complete chaos, lawlessness, violence, and human bloodshed given what you are proposing?

    Think again.
