Thank you so much, Tuxan, for your help and kind words. I'll consider communicating with Baron.

Well, it's probably mean of me, but I worry about EPs and other's too casual attitude. Some things are as serous and final as a tombstone and outright authoratarianism is the big one. They will end up like a friend in Yugoslavia who had everything, then WTF just happened was her reality. The very shallow don't do well when the depths rise.

I think the video is good and the right dose of reality might click with people.

I am a spectacular jerk on ET but sort of nice really. Also I'm mostly Irish so read his way of seeing things as from quite a fair witness :)

Dear kids: but they never listen.

    Just some thoughts.

While the task is getting exposure, I think that given the short/long attention problem a hook won't hurt.

This guy interviews celebs and such while eating hot wings. He adds a little taster preview at the start.

The question is what are the "sizzle moments", not a hot wings reference, that's the industry term, in the interview? I'll pull a transcript from YouTube.

    Well, fuck both of you.

Tuxan is the king and fulltime ET troll.

    I made valid argument,

You two dumb motherfuckers are incapable of making an argument.

    You made a redundant "argument."

A mix of cynicism and a thimble of expertise, correct that disinformation operations are trivially easy to scale, but dismissive of the real-world consequences. The danger of large scale manipulation isn't just about raw numbers, it's about targeting, persistence, and psychology. A well-crafted narrative spread over time can shift public sentiment, not just in elections but in fundamental attitudes toward war, democracy, and governance.

That said, there's a valid critique in how Westerners sometimes react with shock to things that have been happening for decades. But what else is new? The U.S. itself has run massive influence campaigns globally, from Voice of America to clandestine operations. But acknowledging that doesn't negate the fact that Russian disinfo has been particularly aggressive, effective, and tailored to exploit divisions in the West.

So, while "3K FB accounts" alone isn't the issue, the broader strategy and its long-term effects on public trust and geopolitical stability are what matter. And if the takeaway from that interview was simply "Putin's disinfo campaign is vast," "civilians in Ukraine are being slaughtered," then yeah, that does show a certain priority blindness. But obviously, to anyone thinking strategically, the larger priority is understanding and countering the machinery behind these wars, not just reacting to their immediate horrors.

Now to work after the inevitable ET trolling is settled :)

Caolan has an in-abstencia arrest warrant issued by Putin so he must be doing something right. His observation on how viscerally angry they get when Kursk is in the frame is very telling.

I am reminded to see what else "Masyanya", created by Oleg Kuvaev said about Kursk after this one went viral in 2022.

    It seems not but understandable.

Kursk which Caolan visited, holds a deep symbolic weight for Russians, not just as a WWII battle but as part of their national mythos of resilience and military superiority. The attack on Kursk, even in the context of modern warfare, would be perceived as an unacceptable violation, much like how 9/11 struck at America's sense of invulnerability/impunity.

Kuvaev was already taking a major risk with Masyanya, Vakidzasi plus another episode I'm trying to recall, and touching Kursk would have been even more incendiary. The Russian state’s response to perceived attacks on historical pride has always been fierce, and public sentiment is tightly wound around these narratives.

Smarten up and lighten up, you have a long journey. Here's a joke from Ireland in my inbox just now.
