  2. O'Leary is an idiot. Also, he had no insider knowledge of FTX (obviously) ... he was duped.

This guy runs a 79 year Wall Street institution. He saw tethers books first hand. And again, he has little to gain and everything to lose by lying. And again, all they (Cantor) does is hold Tether's T-Bills, which prob contributes like 0.000001% of Cantor's overall revenue. So why the hell would he lie?

Do you have any real explanation for any of this or just blanket skepticism?

    Why is that?

  6. But that wasn't the point of this thread, was it?

  7. The point of the thread wasnt that Tether has an audit. It is that Lutnick said this and that there is no logical explanation why he would lie, it just doesnt make any sense. People use Tether as a reason to stay out of crypto, and I am saying they are likely living a delusion.

  8. What doesn't make sense is that Tether does not submit to an audit given all the assertions of its legitimacy and its being aboveboard. But then, this is not something that troubles a True Believer.

  9. Im no true believer in Tether. I don't even use Tether, and tell people don't use it if you can help it (just use USDC for ur stablecoin needs)

I just find it amusing that people say Tether will collapse for YEARS (and even dumber, make the illogical jump that this also means Bitcoin will collapse) ... and it just never does. Then there is evidence (like Lutnick's comments I started the post with) STRONGLY suggesting Tether is backed more that 1 to 1 and the Tether truther still just clutch to their bibles, in this case their bibles is no audit and 1 Bloomberg commercial paper article from 2017.

    Its really something.

  10. I found it amusing when people doubted me for stating Titan Finance was obviously going to collapse. (It did).

And then I got doubted and laughed at for stating that Luna was going to collapse (It did).

And now, some idiot is doubting me for holding onto that old tradition of common sense, when I say that Tether is waiting to collapse.

    ...
