Cant the FED just inject trillions now? in one shot?

  1. Enough to force money to move around the economy? Why not just get it over with and dump a big amount of cash so big that it has to move?

  2. We don't need it. This panic and talk of nationalization is a sham. Banks have 2 trillion on reserve at the federal reserve. Things aren't as bad as the market thinks they are. This is the pricing in of the stimulus package, nothing more.

  3. I've been thinking the same...

Few hundred billion here, trillion there, government guarantee here....

Enough allready with the water torture...

Either let them go bust or print the money needed but geez make up your mind guys.

  4. But the thing is everyday this stimulus changes and the administration seems just as lost as bush admin.

No one knows exactly what the plan is.

Better to just say we will inject 25 trillion into the economy by wed by buying everything in the books of the banks etc.. Get it done with. and sending 20,000 dollar checks also.
