I just want to create an order where i make a market order and then a limit of X amount ABOVE THE EXECUTED PRICE with just one click... is this possible? thanks
Build the buy-market order. Then attach a bracket to it, which is a sell-limit and a sell-stop. Change the orders at will. Then Transmit the original order, it will also send the bracket. This what you mean? Ursa..
z32000, you actually cannot do it with IB's built-in orders. IB's bracket order will not automatically calculate your bracket order targets automatically based on the actual executed price. However, this feature was requested and apparently approved last year.
stop offsets are defined in ticks or amount, not a specific price....innit the same for tgts as well?
i have ninja trader.. so do i have to know how to program... i'm still quite an amateur... what should i specifically do? thanks
