  1. Yes, that's two of the things you should watch for.

Bars are better at seeing price structure and show trending better.

Here’s a start but it only can make a difference if one engages in a drill to build the mind.

Take a single bar or candlestick. The OHLC can divide the bar into three segments. On a 4 tick 1 point bar that would create 25 distinct permutations of what a single bar can transform from and to.

ie. After the open, price decreases one tick to a low, reverses goes up 4 ticks to a high, then deceases one tick. This is one of the 25 unique forms of a 1 point bar with all the possible opens and closes.

    What are the other 24?

Post your work and the begin the process of building your trading mind.

  6. I know some people feel that way, but for me it's always been the other way around.

    Care to elaborate?

lol, my main jam is the ES 5m bar-by-bar.

My ES market view starts out daily at the monthly, weekly, daily as a tri-pane.
    Then 30m, 5m and 2m YM as another tri-pane.

The other monitor has my trading screen with 2 OTR charts ES and YM on the left of a DOM ladder in the center. On the right of the DOM are 3 T&S streams filtered on 1,50 and 100.

This allows a view from coarse to fine detail. I watch sequences unfold, annotate, log and then zoom/out as appropriate. Make about 20-40 mouse clicks a typical ES day on the trading screen.

I'm here to sprout an alternative view of the market. A different paradigm if you will. For the few who have open minds for high performance. There is no randomness in the market. All one has to do to prove it for themselves is tape 50 charts and build the nested fractals that encapsulates all price action.

Tapes build traverses, traverses builds channels, channels traverse to build larger channels - easy as 1,2,3, ftt

Yeah, I've done lots of sprouts. It led me to something more earthy - spawning mycelium outdoors. My current interest is on the anti-virals red reishi, shitaki's and neuro-genetic lion's mane.

I see you post charts on the regular to the btc thread. Have you taken the orange pill?
