I am interested in creating a trading system that utilizes candlestick buy and sell signals along oversold/overbought stochastics levels. I know for equities there are charting services that will scan for candlestick signals and you can even program parameters to screen prospective trades. How would you do this for FOREX? I was thinking of possibly writing a program to do this and connecting to live data feed, but I thought I would ask before before trying to reinvent the wheel. Ideally I would like to scan different time frames to setup short term and longer term trades. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
