Someone refresh me. I use IB and knew about the new cancel fees for option trades. But are there also cancel fees for trades on the QQQ and SPY? I've been charged with some. Anyone have a link to these fees so I can read it.

    Thanks

  2. I don't think so ...

I sincerely doubt it. You were probably charged normal SEC fees on the sales side. Why do you think any amounts you were charged were cancel fees?

  4. There are cancel fees for stocks, but they are smaller than the cancel fees for options.

Take a look: What are these IB fees?

  5. That is a fee accessed against black box traders, not typical retail accounts; but I can't believe anybody would stand for it ...

Thanks to all who replied. It seems that during my trading day, I actually did have some option trades that I cancelled, but forgot about them. When trading during busy times and the mouse is clicking away, you can't keep track of all activities, especially something like cancelling trades. Maybe IB can keep a log page of all activity including cancelled trades?
