Did the publisher of Dr. Seuss get rid of a lot of other books from different authors at the same time? Lee Enterprises purged about 50% of their existing cartoons; Dilbert is just one of them.
One topic at a time before you pivot. Please provide citation for "There was a large organized group of people working to cancel Dr. Seuss."
The large organized group working to cancel Dr. Seuss is a clearly established fact. There are numerous posts describing the effort including the university professors leading it. And it is still underway — they are trying to cancel everything else published by Dr. Seuss.
The Lee Enterprises newspaper syndicate reduced its comics section nationwide. They also got rid of Family Circus, Beetle Bailey, Blondie, and others. But yeah this is all about Scott Adams getting cancelled. Let's ignore all the other cartoons that were dropped. As outlined by the newspaper syndicate this was a straight up business decision. The "daily comics page will drop from 34 to 10 comics". https://www.dailycartoonist.com/ind...-papers-go-uniform-comics-pages-company-wide/ it is long overdue for you to learn the difference between Cancel Culture and Business Decisions --- and stop confusing the two.
this is not me calling it cancel culture, it's you calling it cancel culture. I'm glad you're coming around that what you call "cancellations" we just call business.
