Cancel culture has gone too far

  1. based on the fact that no one cares I doubt this is the top story of 2021...

Also anyone who considers themself so self important that we all must care what they post on social media deserves to get herpes and oversized shits.

People have very little sympathy for an bully who cancelled other people for years.... when they whine about being cancelled themselves. Still this is an example of the excesses of Cancel Culture.

Chrissy Teigen's Post About Cancel Culture Is Getting Dragged By People On Twitter
Apparently, cancel club isn't accepting new members.

While you and I may not really give a shit about entertainers, the Entertainment world actually has a much larger following than the Politics world -- in terms of the number of people who follow it in the "news" and the number of social media followers online (e.g. Chrissy Teigen has a mob of 13.5 Million people who follow her on Twitter). In the same way that Sports news is much more widely followed than politics by the sheer number of people interested in it.

Entertainers are "leaders" in the online world in trying to cancel other entertainers , politicians, and simply people they disagree with. Many times this leads to violence by their followers against the other people they are trying to cancel (e.g. look at all the rappers who are shot and models who have been attacked). Many times the attacks in social media (many of them nonfactual & false) lead to the loss of contracts & revenue for entertainers. There are many instances of something an entertainer did over a decade ago being dug up and used to cancel them in social media today. Usually their politically incorrect "crime" is so minor that it should be next to meaningless - but it has reached the stage where apologies are no longer acceptable -- and the circus involving an "offended" cancel mob runs amok.

The Entertainment world in many ways is the center of the "Cancel Culture" world.

Sadly more people in the U.S. care about what Chrissy does than they care about what Joe Biden or Ted Cruz do. Likewise the U.S. population cares more about what happens on T.V. reality shows than they do about anything involving politics. In many ways it is sad.

  8. I think you will find no one of importance gives a shit about Chrissy having a tissy. Companies that cancelled her just go find another whore to sell their products... there are plenty of them out there... Most people are tired of social media being used for people to feel self important.

Kardashians are another one.... millions watch their show but no one really cares what happens to them after the hour of laughing at them is over. Kim got divorced from Fucktard Kanye.. the world went meh...
