Is this one of those "one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter" moments?

See, when civic advocates ask for political donations to be transparent and righties label them "cancel culture mob" for wanting to "dox" bribery, it's hard to take the argument seriously

So according to AOC if you donate to a candidate she does not like then you need to be held "accountable". Her definition of "accountable" means that an internet mob should ruin your business, your home, your family, and your reputation because you donated to the "wrong" candidate.

I have never been against the donors to "dark money" PACs being identified... but the concept that donors need to be held "accountable" and ruined is absurd (which is pushed by AOC and her progressives).

Don't want to get lumped with criminals and disenfranchising fascists, don't enable criminals and disenfranchising fascists. It's an easy concept.

You want people to finance those who would take people's rights without them facing consequences, that's not how any of this works

Still waiting for GWB to teach us how a group exercising their free speech; and a company agreeing with them, is unlawful or unAmerican.

Cancel Culture is not a thing, imo.

You'll have to explain to us why you believe as you do.
You'll have to explain to us why free speech is wrong, under your circumstances.
You'll have to explain to us why a publishing company can't agree with protestors, if it wants to, according to you.
You'll have to explain to us why all of these legal actions, are illegal and/or unAmerican, in your opinion.

Maybe businesses should stay completely out of political issues that are not directly related to their business.

For example - Delta should be engaged with legislation and regulations (FAA) related to flying. This political engagement to lobby for the direct interests of their business is very aligned with driving their top/bottom line.

When Businesses Executives engage in political issues well outside the scope of their business -- it never has a positive outcome. Take a look at Goya or MyPillowGuy for examples.
