Canadian venture capital firms

Can one trade such a stock like "V.AGM" = Aldridge Mineral Corporation with an American brokerage? Meanwhile, it seems to me the symbols starting with "V." are not recognized with American brokerage firms??
Please advise.

 

Try IB. V stands for Vancouver Venture Exchange, not venture capital.

 

With the V. before, nothing is accepted.
WIthout the V. before, it's a totally different stock.
What does one enter?
