You beat me to it. I was about to post this. The bottomline is this, its been two years of lockdowns, mandates, hysteria, misinformation, and worst of all pinning one person against another. Most of these lockdowns, mandates, and whatnot are nothing more than a power grab.

If we follow your formula of no school, lockdown, mask mandates, vax mandates, and all kinds of other restrictions, where does it end? Many people has already followed all the guidelines for the last 2 years and there is no end in sight. How long do you want people to put their lives on hold?
You better take a deeper look at how countries that were successful in dealing with Covid addressed the situation. Note that New Zealand and Australia had less days locked down than the U.S. -- and most of the time they were fully open with no internal restrictions. Note the European nations which followed proper science-based health guidance of imposing restrictions in regions when the Covid community prevalence increased and reducing restrictions when the prevalence decreased -- the had many periods with schools open, no masks, and few restrictions. Certainly everyone is fatigued after two years of contending with Covid. But the sad truth is that if all countries followed proper health protocols and got fully vaccinated then Covid would have been in the rear-view mirror as a mere endemic at this point. The anti-vaxxers and Covid-deniers can only blame themselves for our current situation. Naturally this gets into the question of what can be done to improve the situation from this point forward -- in order to arrive at an endemic situation as soon as possible and not continually have to deal with new variants generated in the unvaccinated from undermining the globe. A few points come to mind: Lock down the unvaccinated in western nations. Quickly work to provide vaccinations in third world nations with limited resources. Perform better world-wide monitoring for new variants. Speed up the funding for researching and providing new treatments (drugs, mad, etc.). Work to provide these new therapies to non-wealthy nations as well. Stop the spread of misinformation which undermines addressing Covid across the globe. Use effective public health measures such as masks in crowded indoor spaces such as schools when community prevalence of Covid is high. Fund and coordinate research and work world-wide on the next-generation universal coronavirus vaccine(s).

Locking down the unvaccinated does not mean putting them in Internment camps (despite this being the anti-vaxxer fantasy). It means following what Austria is doing --- unvaccinated people are not allowed in public venues such as theaters, bars, restaurants, etc. This protects the public and appropriately applies pressure to anti-vaxxers to get vaccinated if they desire to be part of mainstream society. Their "freedum" ends when they are plague rats across society infringing on the rights and health of everyone else. I will note that you are incorrect on many of your other assertions above as well. This is the type of nonfactual nonsense being pushed by anti-vax Covid-deniers which will ensure that we will still be dealing with Covid as a pandemic global two years from now. Keep in mind that over 99% of new Covid variants of concern are generated in unvaccinated people -- the unvaccinated are basically variant factories. This underlines the importance of getting people vaccinated as a priority to stop the generation of new lethal, highly transmissible Covid-19 variants.
Yeah okay. So you dont want actually put them in jail, you want to create a two-class system where one class of people get to enjoy certain privileges and you outright exclude a second class of citizens from enjoying the same privileges. I get it, like a modern day Jim Crow. Did you come up with solution by yourself? Here's an idea. Since the vaccine is so great, as you claim it is, then how about we let individual people access their risk levels and decide for themselves if the vaccine is right for them. Someone like you, can go and get vaxxed and since the vaccine is so great, you can go about your business and have nothing to worry about.
For centuries civilized societies have quarantined and locked down people prone to spread disease. It's in no way a new idea. If you want to be part of civilized society then don't be a plague rat -- it's unacceptable.
