Canadian Traders

  1. For Canadian Expats, severing all residential ties there would be no Cdn Taxes. Mexico doesn't tax capital gains on stocks/commodities. Best scenario would be to open offshore corp and set-up U.S. accounts in corp's name filing W8-BEN status.

    But it all hinges on whether u want to "completely" expatriate and live in Mexico?

  3. I am a Canadian Citizen, hoping to trade in NY.
    I have both series 7 and 55

    Can I qualify for TN visa under Economist?
    Or do you know if there were any cases where traders got TN visa?

    so one is to work as an economist to get a visa as an economist ...
