So if you are interested in the true statistical number, why dont you find every single story you can and then compare it to the actual population of muslims in the united states. It would be very easy for me to condem all catholics because of the stories I see on the news about those southern baptist lunatics who stand in front of marine funerals saying that god hates america. It would also be just as easy to play by those rules and say all priests are pedophles, based on the fact that more and more of those stories come out. (Im sure Vhehn would cream in his panties over that notion.) The fact of the matter is that you are making a determination based on something you are seeing in the media, which is not an accurate presentation of realistic numbers. By definition, something doesnt make the news unless it is news worthy, for the most part it isnt news worthy unless someone does something horrible, so all you see is the worst of the worst, it doesnt make the news whern someone is just a good person who goes out and is nice to everyone they meet. I would bet my life on the fact that you are more likely to be killed by a black, or south american person in the states then you are b a muslim person, While on U.S. soil. Hell you probably are more likely to be killed by a white person as well if you live in the states based on per capita murder rates. Id be willing to bet that the murder rate of muslims/brown people in the states is close to the murder rate of asians. I.E. very low. In general brown people are very hard working people. The muslim guy who you meet at the convenience store or driving your cab is doing it because he wants a better life for his children then the shit hole he came from, not because he is involved in some grandiose plan to establish sharia law in the U.S.
Of course you are, because there are very few Muslims per capita in america, particularly compared to blacks or south americans. Most all nations which has large groups of them has such problems. Most typically violent crime and rape/sexual assault on women.
Allowing sizable groups of certain people into your nation and then NOT expecting that attitude is irrational. Allowing people in from feasibly compatible cultures, where assimilation doesn't require the acceptance of such radically different values and standards is much more feasible. Any person from a western/developed nation should have MUCH higher criteria to be able to immigrate to a western nation.
I am interested, anyone have those stats? Generally I agree, although there are those here that WOULD establish and are even attempting to live by sharia law. I simply mentioned that there seems to be more and more incidents.
