I also have recent insight into the early years of my daughter's career in IT which involves US clients based in Silicon Valley.
Are you aware that this project is not going forward or at least getting significant push back? Google did not pay off the right people. In the end, Canada is a country full of the British proper way of doing things. Go through the right channels, respect hierarchy etc, etc. All Toronto will get is the leftovers.
lol. When consulting, this is often my monthly billing. Toronto engineers are dumb as a fucking post. Edit: when I worked in Vancouver a million years ago, I got paid more than this but I was the highest paid on the team even though I was the most junior.
I worked in Toronto after school and it was quite frankly the worst city I have ever worked in. I have not seen anything that would lead me to think that my experience would be different now.
Remember this series of responses showing Toronto is a joke was started by you being offended with Trudeau's manipulation of job numbers by hiring 60k federal workers. That's a blatant election ploy and the dude still lost his majority.
