I think you are confusing Canada with the UK...am I shocked that you weren't aware of that? Sadly, no.
Y'all may not know your own history if you think Canada is not associated with warm beer. Don't underestimate how much time I have spent in Canada.
Red Blooded American Patriots scream that they love meritocracies but they really love socialism when they are the ones receiving.
That is human nature but societies that are capitalist and are believers in the rule of law do not allow this kind of favoritism.
If you referring to Covid which tRump mismanaged - what exactly did Liberals take away? The right to infect others or die trying.
Why are you guys all fighting this US-Canada democracy thing? Just see which stocks/futures are going up or down because the PM is going out and trade accordingly. If markets are not moving for this news, then Trump is not really able to shake up the market with his tweets?
I'm more of a Quebec cultural conservative (provincial) than a federal conservative although I did not adopt that until I made Quebec my primary residence after leaving the U.S. military with my spouse (West Point Alumni/Quebecois) on return back to the states...we decided it was time to reconnect to my French roots (my mom is from France). Anyways, the idea is more associated with we have a culture, we do it our way, you adapt when you’re here in reference to Quebec. With that said, my views of Polievere and Trump is very simple as stated by military buddies in the U.S. who are Republicans, my mother is a Republican and my siblings are Republicans... The saying "the enemy (Poilievre) of my enemy (Trump) is my friend". An ancient proverb that we share a common enemy and need to work together to defeat that common enemy even if Poiliever and I normally would not be allies. Thus, I truly believe that Poilievre is best suited for Canada to take on Trump only because Poilievre believes that Canada needs to take a hard line approach with Trump instead of being soft in catering to Trump...a fake American nationalist to gain supporters (votes) who caters to globalists and foreigners with billions of dollars who wants to own America. Regardless, Poilievre words are very direct - Fight fire with fire. Yet, if I had confidence that Trudeau would have been tough on Trump after learning about Trump's tariff threats and Trump's need to revisit America's colonialism roots by buying other countries to gain access to the resources of those countries that America needs... Trudeau would have been the man for me as he was that person needed to lead Canada in a good performance in the Pandemic because the lives of my children and myself were at high risk... A critical aspect with me because my college education degrees are Immunology & Genetics along with the fact that I almost died in the fall of 2016 from pneumonia. Thus, I needed someone who respected health policies, the science, and the air that we breath (indoors) to get us through the global health crisis...Covid Pandemic. wrbtrader
