Canada is great. You can pretend the US is some wonderful place right now but it hardly is, and all I've done is interject a little bit of that reality into the discussion. The vast majority of Canadians would agree with me. I can't help it if your feelings get hurt easily and you have this desperate urge to think Canada sucks. So what. Learn to deal with it and respect other view points outside of your border. Or shut the fuck up you aren't going to succeed posting stupid shit online. And let's be clear on one thing. "TreeFrogTrader" clearly hates Canada. Nobody forced him to start dozen's of new threads trying to attack some aspect of Canada. If I reply in one of these threads fact checking and denying the outright lies in them, that doesn't make me the instigator. If you don't care about Canada, don't start threads about Canada or post in them. You can't have it both ways. You may think you can, but eventually I'll just tell you to fuck off. Canadians don't suffer pompous Americans we face them directly and call it for what it is.
Oh, I like the real Canadians, from PEI to Quebec City to BC. I just don't confuse them with some of the fake Canadians on this forum. And neither would the real Canadians.
Funny how the US is concerned about supply from Europe but you think you have one up on Canada. If China had the only vaccine you wouldn't be citing the trade deficit and refusing the vaccines. Oh I know, the world is a complicated place and it's all hard for you to comprehend. Might be why the US needs to recruit Canadians and qualified people from many countries in the world to make up for shortages in your own country. The US education system produces too many people like you with limited critical thinking skills.
Well you are the "Fake American" and the Maple Syrup King aren't you now !!! You have no fucking idea what a "real Canadian" is. You just sound like a bigot with learning disabilities. Dumb as rocks. Post all the lying shit you want, you hate Canada. It's obvious. And honestly we hate guys like you and the reception you would get in Canada the way you talk isn't going to go well for you.
Looking at the statistics...Canada has managed the Pandemic much better than the United States mainly because of leadership and support of their citizens. Talking to Americans...they know the leadership in Canada has been much better in dealing with the Pandemic in comparison to the prior Trump / Pence administration. Often I hear...I rather have Canada's problems with Covid-19 than the problems of the United States with Covid-19. Keep something else in mind...Canada is one of the few G7 countries that could stick its hand into the COVAX program. Currently, there's been a lot of talk (debate) about such in the government and media here in Canada. ------- Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s government faces intense political pressure for a vaccine rollout that in its first two months has been beset by delays, and repeatedly lowered expectations. Amid a global supply crunch with only a few COVID-19 vaccines approved, countries in the European Union are under similar pressure but held off drawing on the limited doses COVAX has available. The federal government defended its decision, saying it has always intended to draw from the international program in addition to contributing to the effort. “Our contribution to the global mechanism had always been intended to access vaccine doses for Canadians as well as to support lower-income countries,” Guillaume Dumas, a spokesperson for International Development Minister Karina Gould, said in a statement. “We’re having a comprehensive approach to fighting the pandemic as we know that the virus won’t be defeated until it is defeated everywhere.” The COVAX purchase is on top of the seven contracts Canada signed directly with drug makers. Through those seven contracts, and factoring in the two-shot dose regimen for most of the vaccines, the federal government had already bought enough vaccines to inoculate the entire population three times https://www.theglobeandmail.com/pol...ry-to-take-vaccines-from-fund-for-developing/ ------- In fact, to do remember early into the Pandemic...Canada recognize / debated about the strong possibility of a shortage of vaccine and many question Canada giving so much to the program while not securing enough dosage for itself. Now its revealed that Canada has in fact secured enough dosage but like all other countries in the world...there's a manufacturing delay. Simply, no begging...its just we need to take care of our citizens first prior to being able to help other countries. It reminds me about what's taught in an airplane emergency...put on your oxygen mask first prior to ensuring your love ones next to you have on their face mask too. Back to the United States...it's factual...leadership under Trump / Pence sucked. They didn't follow the science or tried very hard to quiet (push back) on the science. It became so bad with their ignorance... They knew it was so bad...the Republicans supported for several months the lies about a rigged election and continue doing such after losing the U.S. elections. Now look at them...one party is fractured because part of it is still catering to the loonies and their lies. Trudeau still has a little time plug a few holes in the damn before elections in Canada. The good thing...all the political parties believe in the science of Covid-19 since Day 1 and they have come down hard on those in the government that didn't follow the same Health Canada guidelines about Covid-19. As stated before, I own property in both United States and Canada...if I was paying a mortgage and needed help...I would be in trouble in the United States in comparison to Canada. Talking to friends in both countries, the ones in the United States have more fear involving keeping their homes in this Pandemic than friends here in Canada. I don't see any bragging. Instead, I see a lot of ignorance south of the border that has about 4% of the global population but +20% of the infections. There's other stats not shown below that the United States is performing badly while Canada is performing much better. Not a debate...just facts. United States is #1st in the worst performance. Canada is #22nd. Fortunately, they both are doing better now due to the recent declining overall numbers in infections / hospitalizations / deaths but the United States is still higher than Canada. Simply, Trudeau administration has manage the Pandemic much better than the Trump administration if people are going to compare the two via looking at statistics above and many other stats not shown above. For the record...I didn't vote for Trudeau's party in the past Canada election but his leadership is far above Trump's leadership when it comes to Covid-19, social unrest and many other issues. Don't forget...Canada is the first country to put the Proud Boys on a "Terrorist List" while trying to manage a Pandemic at the same time. Simply, real Canadians don't take bullshit from others and holds them accountable for the bullshit. wrbtrader
