Among the factors behind the numbers of Canadians willing to be vaccinated, fewer anti-vax nutballs. Canada is about to surpass the U.S. in first doses of the COVID vaccine Vaxx Populi: Canada now has strong supply and demand of vaccine doses and is vaccinating 0.88 per cent of the population daily https://www.macleans.ca/news/canada-is-about-to-surpass-the-u-s-in-first-doses-of-the-covid-vaccine/
So... let get this on the table would force people to get this vaccine? You would punish them by death? Life imprisonment. Not allow them out of the house.. What ? I am just trying to figure out how much of a communist you are.
“Crock alert” No, despite your never ending mission to spin stories in your head and post them on the forum, no one mentioned forcing you to get a vaccine. If you would rather take your chances with an experimental rabies/coronavirus disease than a proven vaccine that’s up to you. Good luck. The statement was America has a larger amount of “nutballs” than Canada. And it’s true.
I am asking gwb to explain his views. He keeps calling everyone who is waiting on this vaccine an anti vaxxer... I was not spinning any stories. But... I don't care about your view... because it will invariably support the party. And even now... you are spun... as I realize I will probably have to get a vaccine because my family and I do a fair bit of traveling and I am pretty sure some airline or country will force me to have it. by the way... why lie? the vaccine is not proven... mRNA vaccines are new technology. So far the mRNA vaccines are doing well. But.. nobody knows the long term impact... Why the fuck do so many lie about the risks... its so fucking dumb.... the long term risk is unknown. It may small. I hope its small as family members have been vaccinated... I suspect its small, but no one knows. Nothing you say or do or stomp your feet or quote anyone... can change that.
Whoa... Canada caught up with the United States in 1st dose vaccination... I bet it has much to do with the vaccine hesitancy and access issues in which Canada has a better historical record with equality in its vaccinations of its ethnic communities than the United States. At the same time...the United States has a better supply of vaccines. Regardless, the United States vaccination per 100 has been slowing down since mid-April and soon Canada will get millions more vaccines by July. Covid-19 Vaccination Rates By Race in United States Native Americans 45% in comparison its +50% in Canada / +70% in the northern territories Asian Americans 41% White Americans 33% Hispanic Americans 29% Black Americans 22% source: Kaiser Health News / CDC For the record, Canada has been running more alerts here in Québec when vaccination sites open with supplies of vaccines...telling people that anyone can come in to get vaccinated...no appointment needed. Unfortunately, its only available in the heavy hit Covid infection areas. wrbtrader
Well the upcoming vaccine deliveries in Canada are not looking good... Vaccine deliveries could be less than expected next month, new logistics commander says https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/vaccine-deliveries-less-than-expected-1.6034902 The military commander leading vaccine logistics says the immunization campaign has hit its stride with millions of doses arriving each week, but she provided new figures Thursday that suggest shipments next month could be substantially lower than originally planned. In her first news conference since assuming command of the Public Health Agency of Canada's vaccine rollout, Brig.-Gen. Krista Brodie said Canada is expected to receive around 40 million vaccine doses by the end of June. That is less than the 48 to 50 million doses that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Public Services and Procurement Minister Anita Anand have repeatedly said will arrive in the first six months of this year. Last month, during a COVID-19 briefing, Trudeau said "despite the temporary and short-term fluctuations in deliveries from our suppliers," Canada would receive "between 48 to 50 million doses of vaccine by the end of June." In question period on April 22, Anand told the House of Commons that, with Pfizer deliveries ramping up significantly, more doses would be on hand than originally forecast. "That is going to lead us to the larger part of between 48 million and 50 million doses by the end of June. That is transparency. We are saying it now, and we will continue to bring vaccines into Canada for all Canadians," Anand said. 'A significant milestone,' but fewer than promised Now, Brodie said, the number of doses to be delivered will be "around the 40 million point, maybe slightly lower, slightly higher," because of ongoing delays with shipments from Moderna. "We are on track to deliver more than 40 million doses to provinces and territories by the end of June. It is a significant milestone," Brodie said. She later said it would be "up to 40 million doses" by the end of next month. (More at above url)
Am I understanding right, in Ontario timid reopening, people get... fined for shaking hands ? Below is a video of some dude filming his interaction with police https://www.instagram.com/tv/CPPHYrol46J/?utm_medium=share_sheet
Ontario looking as dystopian as ever, such a joke for Canadians to take the moral high ground in the international scene. https://thebl.com/world-news/ontari...ovid-19-vaccine-without-parental-consent.html
BREAKING NEWS!!! Trudeau just announced that Canada is not able to manufacture sufficient ice cream and has run out of the supply it got from Vermont- putting his whole vaccine and ice cream plan three months behind. Not to worry. India is working overtime to supply them with ice cream.
