Canada’s covid-19 second wave is a humbling moment after a summer of bragging

  1. Is Trump still president in your world?

  2. Trump ran into lots of problems with the vaccine despite the successes which cost him bigly at the polls.

I think he probably wishes that he lived in a country like Canada where you can either do nothing or mishandle the vaccine situation and still be leader.

  3. So you're admitting that Trump mishandled the vaccine situation or did (next to) nothing. Good to know.

  4. Oh, the shame to be Canadian.

"heavily criticized" indeed. Robbing the third world countries.

"Canada has been heavily criticized for undermining the spirit of the COVAX initiative, which is to ensure vaccines are equitably distributed to poor countries."

    Congrats

Keep posting every few days to prove to the anti-vaxxers ET trolls that the vaccine isn't killing everyone that's their reason behind the recent Covid deaths. :D

I met an old guy (look like he was in his 70's) in the grocery store that told the store clerk (young women) he recently got vaccinated but he didn't like it because he lost his libido. The store clerk (young women) started laughing.

  6. Canucks seem to be in pretty bad shape with this virus thing.

There is a pantload of vaccine -mostly American- coming to them in April so that will help bigtime. Nevertheless, tis going to be a long haul.

Personally, I would favor vaccinating at-risk Canadians with American vaccine before vaccinating American children, which we have not gotten to yet, but it is coming- needed or not. The problem would be the American teachers unions who have an almost endless list of reasons why they need to continue to be paid to stay home so will demand that every pre-schooler be vaccinated before they return.

Just sayin. I would aggressively move to cover the at-risk Canucks before American children. If the children are a risk to someone else, well then the someone elses need to get vaccinated. Everything does not come out tidy in the short run. Over a three month period it might.
