No, I don't care. Canada's a great country, getting better every decade. 15 pages ??? That's a testament to the amount of desperation TreeFrogTrader has trying to put down Canada. I guess it's a break for him from putting down woman or putting down Biden or other top Democrats.
Sometimes payback is delicious. This is one of those scenarios with respect to nine ender and his troll friends...not Canada
The rumor actually was that Trump knew that Canada was the largest foreign supplier of crude oil to the U.S., accounting for 48% of total U.S. crude oil imports and for 22% of U.S. refinery crude oil intake. Canada exported 3.7 million barrels per day to the U.S. in 2019, 98% of all Canadian crude oil exports. Yet, Trump was surprised to learn that Canada exports about 8% of the electricity it generates to the United States...more so to the Northeast United States. I don't know if it was the Prime Minister that reminded Trump about the above facts but I'm sure at least someone from Canada that's in Washington D.C. reminded Trump about the above facts. A few other notable facts, in Trump new home state of Florida...Canada spends a few billion dollars each year in Florida alone with a slowly growing income expenditures in Cuba and Mexico. That's a lot of money that can easily be diverted from Trump's home state to Cuba or Mexico especially as more Canadians are having 2nd homes in those countries. That's negotiation power towards Canada regardless what was huffed/puffed about in the public. As for Ford, he has always seen his province as very problematic with Covid from Day 1...never seen an statements of him pretending they were better than any other country. More important, I do remember him once stating that vaccines (vaccination) could be used by some countries (he didn't name any specific country) to use in trade negotiations which is something he strongly opposed. The title of this thread and several different discussions in this thread in comparison to the title is just a trolling topic by a troll that someone had butt hurt. The trolling is obvious when the topic was changed multiple times in this thread by the troll as he attempts to create multiple sub-threads inside of the thread topic. I actually "like" this thread because it gives recognition and exposure to the things that the United States is arguably dependent upon from Canada that many seem to take for granted. wrbtrader
Just thought I'd check the recent Covid stats and to my surprise the rate of infections and deaths in the US right now exceed those in Canada by an even greater rate. Shocking really how so many Americans can continue to act recklessly for a full year.
What really amuses me is how the same conservatives in the US year in year out make an absolute drama about the 3000 dead during the September 11 attacks yet have hardly any concerns nor compassion for the 300,000 dead during this pandemic. Every fucking year the same drama, crocodile tears for the 9/11 victims, God bless America blaring from every loudspeaker, "never again" proclamations, but laughing about those dummies that suggested early on to use face masks and to socially distance. This really is pure demonstrated idiocy. But I also find it amusing what is going on in Canada re vaccinations. Why is everything so fucking slow here? Holy Crap, Hong Kong is delivering the BioNTech vaccine to everyone above 30 years. In my fucking town in BC the 85 year old are currently treated. The sense of complacency among Canadian politicians and bureaucrats is staggering. I also have a funny story to share. Was at the local shopping mall a few weeks ago, stopped by the food court and had some Chinese takeout from the stand right there which I consumed at the court. As caucasian I have lived for decades in Asia so for myself it's normal to eat Chinese food with chopsticks. 5 minutes into eating two ultra liberal chicas stop by my table and angrily look at me and ask me to stop eating with chopsticks, this would be cultural misappropriation. No joke, those pussy-munchers were serious, I held to myself for a moment and then asked them: whether my chopsticks were offending anyone? They replied it offended them. I asked how it could possibly offend them, from the looks of it they looked even whiter than me. Their chin dropped to the ground and they turned away and left. Really weird but I felt amused. Moral of the story, there are no boundaries and borders when it comes to idiotic behavior. It's part DNA, part education, part environment, part rotten families. You can't cure stupidity.
Ugh. Uppity Canadians giving the gears to Americans are the worst. I’ve met a lot of them. They think Americans are stupid and Canadians’ shit don’t stink. Huge fucking losers.
Most everyone I know does not complain about others but makes life work for themselves. But matter of fact is that the US and Canada are drifting apart on many issues, more than perhaps ever before. That causes people to see differences more clearly perhaps.
