The U.S. imports more than we export. Those dollars go to our trade partners and they get recycled via foreign investments in our equity and bond markets. Trump’s actions align with Russian interests and soon we’ll see the *intentional* alienation of our traditional allies and trade partners, the diminishment of U.S. global influence and certainly our questionable moral high ground take root. We’ll see Trump propose the easement if not the elimination of Russian sanctions and a desire to increase trade with Russia.
