Looking back to Trump’s tariffs against China during his first term could offer clues on where the money may go. Retaliatory tariffs from China were a blow to US farmers and Trump authorized $28 billion in relief payments to compensate farmers for their losses. No winners in a tariff war. Elect a clown....get a circus
All the talk in the US these days reminds me of the bs I read online prior to the US invading Iraq. Americans have an incredible ability to get behind stupid causes and ignore reality doing so. Propaganda and the two party system just don't work in these situations; so many supporters just buy what the Republicans say blindly. I thought inflation and govt debt were supposed to be important to the American people. Trump's policies will hurt on both fronts on an accelerated basis ( meaning by the time the impact hits it will be impossible to recover without some pain ). At what point in the election did the voters decide that one of their priorities was a massive trade war with Canada . Trump I can understand almost every policy he has is an act of vengeance against those he thinks wronged him, with the bonus to cut taxes for rich people.
Clowns like Trump have done serious damage at many points in the past. Did you vote for George W. Bush before the US bank system imploded under his watch ? Or were you living out of country at the time suggesting your career wasn't all that great in the US itself ?
Well, you sound convinced. Then give us a stock/etf play (long or short) based on these beliefs. I mean something this obvious should parallel itself into a super easy market play right? It has to. I'm all ears. Dazzle us with your market prowess.
