One need only realize that if Canada bordered Mexico, instead of the U.S. bordering Mexico, then people would be trying to enter Canada from Mexico. The same logic applies to Sweden. One needs to realize that geography matters. One need also realize that the mark of a great country has to do with more factors than the number of immigrants. One needs to consider this: https://www.usnews.com/news/best-countries/slideshows/10-countries-that-take-the-most-immigrants According to @Buy1Sell2 "logic," Russia must be more desirable than the UK. One, ultimately, needs to avoid falling for @bull1shit2
You're talking to a guy that does not care about facts...he'll call you Anti-American if you buy a Ford XYZ that was designed by an Asian American (born in Detroit) working at Ford Motor Company. wrbtrader
US has more legal immigrants coming from all over the world than any other country. --And in the past, we have had millions and millions of European, Asian and Middle Eastern immigrants. In addition, we have more illegal immigrants coming from all over the world than any other country. By the way, if Canada bordered Mexico, Canada would have screwed up the great bounty and opportunity that The US cultivated.
Time for me to leave this thread...too many Trump cult followers, Covidiots, Pro Insurrectionists showing up to troll the thread that failed to achieve the Make America Great Again during Pandemic, Social Unrest, Riots, Growing Mass Shootings, Key Infrastructure being Hacked for ransomware, Collapsing Bridges / Roads / Buildings... Now they're having temper tantrums as if someone pulled their panties up too tight. Time for @Buy1Sell2 @luisHK to grow up and act like adults. wrbtrader
We cap immigration and have fairly choosy criteria who we allow in. Despite that, in 2019 we allowed in 300,000 legal immigrants versus 1.18 million in the US. Given that our population is roughly 1/9th that of Canada, that means our legal immigration rate is far higher then the US. And somehow no shortage of people wanting to come to Canada. The 300,000 is oversubscribed every year. So I'm not sure what point you are trying to make but you failed. Again. Seems to be your thing, posting nonsense online.
Be that as it may. Despite the immigration numbers, and your feelings; you still haven't provided any sources whatsoever supporting your feeling that the US is currently the number one country in the world. Rather than bull1shitting2, consider trying to find ways to improve our ranking. More GOP bullshitting and lies won't help.
Stopping Democrat Marxist and RINO policies, such as you favor, from being enacted would make us an even higher number one.
