Here's some more Obama lies. First he claimed Rezko contributed only $60,000 to his campaign. Then it went up to $86,000. And then $150,000. And now it is at $250,000.

It's hard to keep track of cash in brown paper bags... :p

They won't, because most of the left believe it. Those that don't believe it completely do hold a lot of sympathy and think it's partially true. Sure, the CIA may not have invented AIDS they think, but surely they helped spread it around. Look at Rosie O'Donut, poster child for the libtard movement. Fire doesn't melt steel, according to her.

Not that Obama could do much to limit himself. He could be raping Palestinian girls on weekends, and they wouldn't mind. Now if he said something like the USA shouldn't bow down to the UN, then the left would have a cow. Or say that the Constitution says what it says and it's not open to changing interpretations - holy moly the libtards would explode. Or suppose a US Senator used to be a KKK leader. . . whoops, that's OK with the left.

So true - and so sad. The Democrat party is now nothing more than the front group for Daily Kos. Nothing a liberal does is too extreme. Every deviant and revolting revelation is excusable. Steal secret documents from the archive - "Oh he was just sloppy." Take sexual advantage of young interns in the Oval Office - "Oh it's a private matter." Have a pastor, councilor and friend that revels in preaching hate and racism - "Oh he's just like a harmless, nutty uncle." But if a Republican senator just compliments a ninety year old compatriot about at one time being an excellent candidate for president - "HE MUST RESIGN!!!" Or if a Republican passes on rumors originally put out by liberal about a desk jockey at the CIA - "PUT HIM IN JAIL FOR LIFE!!!"

Liberals are so pathetically double standard and hypocritical...

OK, fair enough. Rezko, we think, helped Obama get his house. Fine with me. Now what was the lie? And what political favors did Obama do for Rezko?
    Must have been something, right?
Well, whatever. I haven't heard, seen, or read anything yet that would dissuade me from the thought that Obama is the one to lead us out of the present mess we are in. And by the way Pabst, in case you haven't noticed, Obama IS White, he just has a little darker skin tone than you, so you should feel perfectly comfortable voting for him.

    :D

  7. Uh, Obama beat a guy for Senate named Alan Keyes. Unlike Obama, Keyes is black and it's Alan Keyes who keynoted my fundraiser for Congress in 2004 and it's Keyes whose campaign I assisted in 2004.

Hence Pabst supported/loved the real African-American in Illinois's 2004 Senate race.

  8. Rezko is a slum lord (among many things) 11 of his 30 properties are in Obama's old Illinois State Senate district.

On June 13 2007, the Chicago Sun-Times reported that Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL), while serving as an Illinois state senator in 1998, "did a political favor" for Chicago Democratic fundraiser Antoin "Tony" Rezko by writing letters to state and local government officials in support of a Chicago housing project proposed by Rezko's company, New Kenwood LLC. The Sun-Times asserted that the "letters appear to contradict a statement last December from Obama, who told the Chicago Tribune that, in all the years he's known Rezko, 'I've never done any favors for him.' ''
In October 2006 -- Rezko was indicted on charges he solicited kickbacks from companies seeking state pension business under his friend Gov. Blagojevich. Federal prosecutors maintain that $10,000 from the alleged kickback scheme was donated to Obama's run for the U.S. Senate. Obama has given the money to charity.

  9. Obama was a formidable candidate when he had the rockstar thing going. Not so good when he has to explain himself, something he's probably never had to do in his political career and probably his entire life. He lacks the experience the Clintons have in dealing with scandals. They would never have made a rookie mistake like claiming they had never done a favor for a corrupt fundraiser, when documentary evidence would prove it to be a misstatement.

He is in trouble but still ahead on points. One more incident could sink him however.

  10. Only lack of experience keeps Obama from being more scandalized. Geez AAA, this guy can't even get out of the South Side of Chi-town without two biggies. Can you imagine by the time he's 60 and has 3 terms in D.C.?

Obama has character issues. It's not just Rezko and Wright but also the NAFTA/Canada/Goolsbee flap and the way Obama tries to slime out provable accusations. You nailed it best. He's just a black John Edwards.
