Your best bet is to get a matrox dual monitor G450 PCI on ebay for $40. They work with all the newer motherboards. Never had a problem.
The only problem with the old matrox cards is that they are cpu hogs compared with newer cards. Even a 9250 (which is old and close to free) will load the cpu a lot less.
