Firewall in my Linksys router seems to interrupt the streaming quotes, I`m still playing with the settings but looking for better router. What do you guys use?
After years of being stuck with dial-up where I live, cable high-speed Internet finally arrived a year ago, so I searched diligently for the best broadband router (with firewall) available at the retail (home user) level. That turned out to be the Prestige 324 router by ZyXel --- which is described by many users as the retail (home user) version of the very high-powered line of routers ZyXEL makes for big commercial users. The retail users also state that the Prestige 324 is far superior to the usual consumer routers offered at the retail level, such as LinkSys, etc. I am not a techie, but I decided to go with the Prestige 324 router a year ago, and it has worked flawlessly ever since --- including no problems with streaming quotes, etc. I highly recommend it (of course, there may be a later version by now --- that I haven't checked out).
