In English one can ascribe dozens of meanings to it. In the context I used it, I basically meant its a lousy stock to play both intra-day as a trading stock and for the long term as an investment. https://finviz.com/chart.ashx?t=TTM&ty=c&ta=1&p=d&s=l
Hmnn, i see, thanks. And, i woudn't be surprised, if ,in that list of 9,there is another few like that, because i gave no look to chart's, just liquidity/region/field.
It all depends on how many $ you are trading with $1000,$10,000 or$50,000 or more. NFLX 100 shares will cost you $34,000 so not w good idea if you are starting out. To make money you need to be buying 500 to a 1000 shares. That may bring you down to $2 to $10 stocks. Even volatile $1 stocks will make you money. 30 cents on a $1 stock with a 1000 shares makes you $300 Do that a couple of times in a day and you have made it. Do pick you price point. Then scan for stocks in that range Join a chat room like http://www.premieretraderchat.com Build up a watchlist of stocks and away you go!
As an observer of the space in a city that is massively pro weed, one thing that has struck me is there may be demand for designer weed. Not all strains are obviously the same, and the production is commoditized or will be eventually. However the margins may be in cross breeding and upselling. Think Iphone vs Nokia flip phone. If you have a dispensary nearby take a walk into one and see the price difference between the base strain and the luxury strains. The margins are real.
Man, you really have to wade through the BS to see any real answers. Here are two options for you: Pay for IBD (investors.com) Write your own screener (quantopian.com)
Well Overnight... Its been over 1/2 year so its time to re-visit . Here's $MJ. The marijuana ETF. As I said, fundamentals ultimately matter. Nothing but hype... all engineered to suck in the new money. (Nice textbook death cross on the 50/200 btw)
