No. I've never had a request for that capability to be honest with you, but I will see if that's something we can make happen.
Yes, there is a way. It's not full proof; but you can get an idea. Google cache's some of our chat logs. Using Google's advanced search you can search our chat logs. However... like I said its not full proof; for instance I just searched for the word short. It came up with 8 chat logs that feature the word short. I am sure there are many more chat logs that hold the word "short" however that is all Google kept in their cache. 1) When using Google advance put the following URL in the domain box. http://www.elitetrader.com/ch/DigiChat/DigiClasses/Resources/Default/Transcripts/Elite_Trader_Chat/ 2)Place your search term in the search box at the very top of the page. Tip: I would use Firefox while searching through a chat log, their search feature is very user friendly. http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/
Simple, if you know the date a conversation took place: Chat > Today's Chat Logs > Main Room > change date on URL > Ctrl F
Baron: if it is not too much trouble to implement, it can be a value add. Joe: Thanks for the work around. I will give it a try. TUMS
