Can this be the USA in 50 years, I mean the entire country

  1. If we keep heading in the same direction?

  2. The atheist communities will look like that for sure. But there will be some nice decent christian communities that wont look anything like this.

  3. yes like the christian mecca of colorado springs. god will protect the gullible. maybe not:

COLORADO SPRINGS — This tax-averse city is about to learn what it looks and feels like when budget cuts slash services most Americans consider part of the urban fabric.

More than a third of the streetlights in Colorado Springs will go dark Monday. The police helicopters are for sale on the Internet. The city is dumping firefighting jobs, a vice team, burglary investigators, beat cops — dozens of police and fire positions will go unfilled.

The parks department removed trash cans last week, replacing them with signs urging users to pack out their own litter.

Neighbors are encouraged to bring their own lawn mowers to local green spaces, because parks workers will mow them only once every two weeks. If that.

Water cutbacks mean most parks will be dead, brown turf by July; the flower and fertilizer budget is zero.

City recreation centers, indoor and outdoor pools, and a handful of museums will close for good March 31 unless they find private funding to stay open. Buses no longer run on evenings and weekends. The city won't pay for any street paving, relying instead on a regional authority that can meet only about 10 percent of the need.

  4. No, I don't think so but like what peilthetraveler, there will be some communities that will most likely have similar environment like this.

  5. ---------------------------------------------------------------------

•Of all the major racial and ethnic groups in the United States, black Americans are the most likely to report a formal religious affiliation. Even among those blacks who are unaffiliated, three-in-four belong to the "religious unaffiliated" category (that is, they say that religion is either somewhat or very important in their lives), compared with slightly more than one-third of the unaffiliated population overall.

So Peilthetraveler, why so much poverty and crime in the black USA ghetto? So many churches there.

  6. No ... people gravitate together on agreed principle or need and oft form the "Bubba Effect"
in societal breakdown whether for ill or good.

Sometimes law and order even develops in that environ.
The more civilized the more likely.

In that environ ... Americans currently own guns, so there would be "haves" and "have nots" and the dead.

Stupid liberal atheists would be less likely to have
guns and hence less likely to live or own shit.

Christians would be more likely to have guns and moral order and hence
"Bubba Effect" rule and rule of law and order. Hence safer better and cleaner living environs.

Criminal gangs would of course be the most dangerous
as conquering aggression and violence would be less restrained ... posing the need
for groups to huddle together for protection or be gang banger bitches.

If guns were confiscated ... then the Bubba Effect would still prevail and the
extremes be exacerbated as some would still keep their guns and obtain additional munitions off the dead.

  7. Mnphats

    Mnphats

    Blacks tend to vote liberally.

  8. Ok, god is republican.

  9. TGregg

    TGregg

No question. He's apparently unconcerned about the well being of those "unfortunates". Few get into heaven.

  10. True to your name I see ... trendlover

    Kidding asside:
Actually God [Yahweh to be more specific] is true to His name and character.

He doesn't partake in the Hegelian dialectics of politics or religion or rebellion
that are rooted back to the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Mankind however is subject to those crooked roads and serpentine effects wherein
the Machiavellian "end justifies the means" has rule by the prince of the power of the air.

Those crooked roads and serpentine effects are made strait in Christ Jesus.

Jesus the Christ has already been lifted up like the serpent in the wilderness.

Believe it or not ... there is great insight in these principles of "Hills and Valleys" and "return to median" principles ...
that are directly related to market understanding ...

Unfortunately there will arise to power an opposite spirit in this world ... that will offer a solution of artificial balance ...

peace + peace and security if you will ...
