Income potential depends on your pippage. With $500 and relatively low risk (micro lots).. you would need to make 1,000 pips to make $100. There is no magic course to forex. Experience is your greatest teacher.
use a demo to trade for 6 months if you profitable in 6 months move to real money experience is the game... oanda is probably best for comming into the game... because of lot sizing... generally look to make 1-2% when you start a month using low leverage... being an overleveraged noob only ends up in you killing your 500 dollar account. nuke
I learned an enormous amount from babypips.com. They have a school you can "attend", take quizes and get graded...try it out sometime.
