He is different from the other kings [Daniel 7:24] He will rise from obscurity [Daniel 7:8] He will be worshipped by many people [Rev. 13:8] He will speak boastfully [Daniel 7:8; Rev 13:5] He will try to change the laws, perhaps to gain an advantage for his new kingdom and era [Dan 7:25] He will not answer to a higher earthly authority; âHe will do as he pleasesâ[Daniel 11:36] He will hate a nation that initially will have some control over his kingdom, but he will destroy this nation [Rev 17:16-18]
and why does this set of verses particularly point to Obama? Why does it have to be a US President? Why does it have to be a President at all? How about King of England? Secretary of the UN?
Anti Christ would be against the poor, the unfortunate, against health care for all, would trash the earth for profit, would be driven to accumulating wealth at the expense of others, would lie, cheat, start wars, would allow extreme corruption to go on without a check, would have secret meeting with oil companies, etc. That's the past 8 years of Bush...if we have ever seen anyone who was as anti Jesus Christ's sermon on the mount...it was the Bush administration.
