I put in a short this AM for 1000sh NVLS, and saw the shares in the market depth screen with IB. Got two partial fills leaving 100sh remaining. Suddenly those remaining shares on the ask disappeared, but shares did exist 1 cent on either side of my price. Eventually I did get the fill, but I don't understand how my shares on the ask seemed to disappear for about two minutes...
