  4. If you want to start a fund, don't bother looking for accredited investors if you have no credentials. Your best bet is to find retired (tarded?) baby boomers and pitch your fund idea to them. Ponzi schemes thrive in bull markets and they unravel when people panic and want their money back. There are retired (tarded?) people out there that give strangers their life savings because they are naive. So, good luck with your scheme OP.

    People at brokerages sometimes have connections to external capital and an interest in helping traders get connected to it. Particularly, slightly higher-up people on the sales side (e.g. whoever your "rep" is), and particularly if you're trading through a "professional" or "semi-professional" brokerage. And the nice thing is there may not be a need for an audit to generate investor interest if your connection to capital has also seen what you've done with your account.
