  1. Can I take my laptop to the nearest movie theatre and plug it in?
Because I would like to have popcorn and stuff while I trade. :p

Yes, you can have them give you half the screen & if there are still people out there after the movie is done, he might change his mind & give you the full screen.

And if those people return again nthe next day, Hollywood might rethink about making the movies alltogether.

You might even win an oscar if you make few bucks at the end of the year. Of course the members of academy will be the entire ET forum.

    Hey, great idea.

  3. I made some comments on here a few days ago saying the resolution on a Samsung when connected to a laptop was poor. Boy was I wrong.

In windows 7 only connect to the screen only, problem solved. Monitor is awesome. Using a samsung ln32c350 connecting to a lenovo laptop with docking.

    Jeffrey3,

I have only used the models I listed, so I dont know about any of the ones you listed.

Here is what I ordered from Amazon (it costs $1800) :

    http://www.amazon.com/Sony-BRAVIA-800-52-Inch-Black/dp/B0035ER1N2

The delivery dudes even took it out of the box and set the entire thing up for me and ensured that it was working properly (turning it on, checking out the picture, etc) before I signed off on the delivery. Yay for Amazon.com

Here is the list of the Bravia's Sony has:
