Can I just sign up for Obamacare once I'm sick?

  2. ObamaCare in short is subsidized healthcare for the poor. Since over half of America is poor, America will LOVE Obamacare.

  3. Obamacare, subsidized healthcare for the poor is implemented in almost all western countries.

You cant go wrong implementing a system that has been implemented everywhere in countries similar to your own and where it doesnt "destroy" the country.

If you think Obamacare will destroy the country, did Obamacare in other western countries destroyed those countries?

In summary, you are plagued by republican rhetoric. Logic disabled.

I have yet to see any proof of LOVE for Obamacare. I see polls where an overwhelming majority want it repealed or radically changed.

I do know this. The last two years my company has seen an average of +30% rate increases two years running and I'm told that 2014 will be the worst yet.

That likely means that we'll drop coverage for our employees and pay a fine. I'm not sure they'll like what they find in the exchanges though.

You might want to actually look at some European health care systems before commenting. And by look I don't mean simply repeating what you heard on MSNBC.

NO, it is NOT. See, this is the fucking problem with this country. We have 99% of the public blind, deaf and stupid. Obama Care is not healthcare for the poor. Medicaid is healthcare for the poor. Obama Care applies to ALL people because they mandated that ALL Americans have to participate. There really should be an IQ test to vote.

Actually failed-trader may be one of the many who will get most of their premiums, co-pays and deductibles paid for by other taxpayers. Some people will see this as a windfall financial gain ... they don't make all that much $$$ so they'll get subsidies for not only their premiums but also can see their deductible reduced from $12,700 to $4500. Heck, people who will get most of their health care paid for by others will gloat and say how great it is.

What's totally screwed up is that people who are healthy and have worked hard and been successful will get no subsidy and will see their premiums skyrocket to subsidize all those who have these supposed pre-existing conditions that were brought on by their own poor choices. And I am excluding, and feel empathy, for those who have 'real' pre-existing conditions. But those who eat crap, don't exercise and are fat or obese with health 'issues' now should pay higher rates than people who take responsibility for their health and well being.

You answered Maverick's question .. you know nothing about Odumbocare.

You say it's for the poor? Is 400% of the poverty level considered poor? Not in my book.

Anyone earning up to 400% of the poverty line will be eligible for a subsidy, which is up to $45,960 for an individual and $94,200 for a family of four.

So a family with just under $100K in income is poor? And a single person making about $45K is poor?

You sound like both a failed trader and a failure as a human being.
