thanks speedo. i believe this livegold is for the underlying gold price instead of the futures price. so this is what i want, but do you know where can i find the daily historical underlying gold prices since year 2008?

 

The NYMEX and COMEX have been absorbed by the CME. You might check those out for historical futures data.

i found that the gold price in investing.com is Feb2019, but do u know why they didn't choose Jan2019? what's the logic they use to select the front month and update there?

 

i can only find the historical chart, do they provide the numbers like Open/High/Low/Close?
