I think the McMillan Book (Options as a Strategic Investment) is the best introductory text. Not only is it very basic but it's very thorough too. I'd read that before Natenburg. Another idea for an introduction might be "The Options Workbook".
I suggest you start with 21stcenturyinvestoreducation.com's FREE online course: #201: Mastering Options Trading
In case my post on Natenberg's book was not clear: I read it from the library during a weekend, I liked it, I bought it to have it handy. I just think that it is not suited for a beginner.
I would like a book that starts on page one and says "What is an option?" and ends with the most intense strategies. Ever seen those computer books titles "Learn C++ in 21 days"? or Arnold Swarzenegger's body building encyclopedia? Something along those lines. Got some great ideas from you guys, thanks for the posts. What is known as the OPTIONS BIBLE? THATS what i want.
I agree. Lawrence McMillan's "Options as a Strategic Investment" is good both as an introductory book, and you'll be using it later as a reference book too.
You can not find a better book than this one. I have over 100 different books on options. This one is simply the best! http://www.riskdoctor.com/books.html
