Say a trader wanted to support a Real Candidate - not one of these Left-Right Douchbags that have our Constitution and Country on its knees. Could a politician allocate a % of his donations to a private fund run by a trader, then reinvest the profit back into the campaign? Or, better still, can a politician invest his personal money into a fund, redeem the profits, then donate them to his/her campaign?
I am sure they are getting interest on the money. The question is wheather they can assume risk with the donations....If they take on risk it may void the deduction
