Did anyone here start out as a floor trader before moving to online trading? Iâm just wondering whether it was easier to break into trading twenty/twenty-five years ago when open outcry markets were the main centre of activity, or now when most trading is done online, but there is more competiton from software and trading bots? Also, does anyone know of any prop/daytrading firms run by former floor traders?
