  3. No. Bush is not dumb. He is stupid. And I'm sure you know the old saw that igorance is curable but stupid is forever. There are many "educated" stupid people out there. Your reference is merely one case in point. There is actually a distinction between getting an education and getting a degree. And while there is evidence that GWB attended university and got a couple of degrees, there is no discernible evidence to suggest that he acquired an education.

  4. I'm not going to bother with the searches to confirm it, but 141 on the Stanford puts you in the 99.5 percentile for sure, and maybe higher. That means in a stadium filled with 100,000 people, you are among the brightest 500 people in the room.

That is fucking smart by anyone's standards, and as I said just a few points from effectively genius level IQ.

  5. Remember that there are two components being tested in the IQ - fluid and crystallized intelligence, and the fluid one you can train successfully. Also the Flynn Effect where generations have been showing steady increase in IQ over decades.

There are many IQ tests online - even with time limits, but as we've talked about already - intelligence is no sure sign of a great mind. You need to know how to apply that intelligence, as well as possess the knowledge and wisdom necessary for tasks.

Here are some other aspects of mind testing which are very interesting:

  6. And while Pabst has demonstrated a commanding knowledge of certain facts, with quick and ready reference, his interpretation of those facts remains woefully inadequate and underprocessed. Quite sad, really. :(

  7. Why, because I hadn't noticed a short, 'Time Magazine' article?

    I will investigate this further.

Palin is what is dooming McCain's campaign, and I seem to recall Lieberman advising her to not let her debate with Joe Biden 'turn into an I.Q. test.' http://news.yahoo.com/s/politico/20081002/pl_politico/14224

Given the statistical odds of Palin succeeding McCain before the end of his first term (based on his age and history of malignant cancer), and given McCain's psychological profile, I'd relegate any alleged veracity of McCain possessing high intelligence as 'neutral' at best, in terms of augmenting a case for McCain as POTUS.

Besides, it's not as if Obama isn't incredibly intelligent by any metric:

    http://www.eons.com/groups/topic/894197-Obama-s-IQ-The-Highest-Of-Any-President-Ever-

Obama's IQ The Highest Of Any President Ever?

The former Guidance Counselor of Obama's private Hawaiian school has supplied The Washington Post with a certified copy of Obama's Stanford-Banai IQ Certification, one of which was taken in 1966 when he was a kindergardener in Hawaii before moving to Indonesia, and one which was taken as entrance protocol as a freshman in his private (extremely exclusive) Honolulu private highschool.

His IQ was clocked at 172 and 166 respectively (IQ's normally have a fluctuation of 6 or 7 points from test to test so that discrepancy is normal).

That puts Obama in the certifiable clinical genius category.

Obama's campaign is apparently NOT HAPPY about The Washington Post preparing to disclose this, because they fear it adds to his reputation as not an "everyman" and being too "elitist".

He has not released that information. From the information available:

    * The average IQ for a college graduate with a bachelor's degree in the U.S. is 115.

Obama graduated Magna Cum Laude from Harvard Law School.

    * Obama's IQ has been guesstimated as 1) lower than 140-165 and 2) between 140-165, possibly higher. The IQ value is estimated against his achievements as a graduate of Columbia University and Harvard Law School, where he served as editor, and later as president of the Harvard Law Review; which is an extremely prestigious position. Obama also taught at the University of Chicago for over 10 years, a top-ranked university in the United States.
    * Obama attended an elite private school in Honolulu as a scholarship student. He had previously been in school in Indonesia, so his scholarship was almost certainly not based on marks, but on extremely high entrance exam scores.

  8. Yes, what could possibly be worse than having a country run by a president who might have the intellectual capacity to actually do a decent job of it, eh? It would be so much more comforting to have a beer with Bush or a facial with Palin.

I suppose that one inalienable right afforded by a democracy is the freedom to squander one's own vote.

  9. I have no doubt that Obama is a VERY smart guy but I have to LMAO that he scored 170 on a Stanford I.Q. test as a kindergärtner. I realize much of the test is extrapolating the relationship between triangles and octagons but being old enough to read the questions must be some sort of prerequisite.

  10. I'd also like to add the obvious:None of us KNOW dick about Obama's scoring or academic record. What was his LSAT score? Where is his transcript from Columbia? From Occidental? Instead we see some bullshit, unsubstantiated report that as a SIX YEAR OLD his I.Q. was measured at 172. Of course no actual transcript is provided because they (Obama) fear it adds to his reputation as not an "everyman" and being too "elitist".

Give me a friggin' break. Then release his I.Q. test along with his college grades, LSAT scores and we'll reach our own conclusions.

I'll repeat: ANYONE voting for this snake is a cock sucking whore. That goes for any grandmothers out there too....:p
