For the record, I voted REPUBLICAN for Tom Mc Clintock for Governor last month. But the fact of the matter is that BUSH doesn't give a rats ass about CALIFORNIA! Look at the way FERC and the entire Bush Administration has allowed California and its economy to simply "twist in the wind". One doesn't have to go very far back to look at how Bush and his oil buddies at FERC sat on their asses and allowed the World's 5th Largest Economy to get hammered even further while Bush's energy buddies lined their pockets. Like an earlier poster said on another thread: "You know, the problem was that the beetle infested trees didn't threaten oil fields."
