If a 5.0 quake happened in CA right now,it wouldnt even be written about in a no-names blog, but for the new yorkers i guess its a big deal. This reminds me of a time when I went to England when I was a teenager and I remember the front page of the newspaper talked about how the young princes(they were like 5 y.o. at the time) were out in the "Sweltering" 90 degree heat. I was laughing at them the same way I'm laughing at you new yorkers right now.
