  1. Al Sharpton was pretty clear that while we were in caves, blacks were advancing in mathmatics, philosophy, architecture etc...we just stole all their wisdom and knowledge.

Nowadays they give us the loveliest form of music, rap, in which they say little lyrics about drug use, rape, interracial pornography, murder and other criminal and immoral activities... where would we be without such great contributions?

Too bad the death penalty isn't applied anymore in California.

Arrest made in slaying and rape of girl, 13, in California

FAIRFIELD, Calif. - An arrest was made on Friday in connection with the death of 13-year-old Genelle Conway-Allen, the teen found dead in a Fairfield park on Friday, Feb. 1.

At an 11:45 a.m. press conference, Sgt. Rebecca Belk of the Fairfield Police Department named Anthony Lamar Jones, 32, of Fairfield as the lone suspect in the murder of Conway-Allen.

"Jones was identified as a suspect early on in the investigation," said Belk. "Since that time, he has been under 24-hour surveillance. Therefore, there was no danger to public during the investigation."

Belk said evidence that was recovered links Jones to the crime.

Belk credited the arrest to a cooperative investigation between the Fairfield Police Department, Suisun City Police Department, state and federal agencies and the Solano County District Attorney's Office.

During the conference, Belk read the following statement from Conway-Allen's foster family in response to Jones' arrest:

"I am so overwhelmed with emotion I don't know if I can speak. First, I want to thank the Fairfield Police Force SO much for bringing this person to justice. All of us were so anxious for our children and community. Thank you for working so hard to make our community safe.

Second, I need to thank EVERYONE who showed Genelle and our family so much love and support, building the memorial and in so many ways. We will never be able to thank you enough. We also want to thank the staff at Alternative Family Services, our foster care agency, for being with us through the entire ordeal.

Finally, with tears in our hearts, we can now begin to say goodbye to sweet Genelle. Genelle, we love you so much. We always will. May you find peace forever. We will always, always love you."

Solano County District Attorney Donald A. du Bain thanked the agencies involved in the investigation and expressed his sympathies to Conway-Allen's family and friends in a statement released Friday afternoon.

"The murder of a 13-year-old little girl assaults the very core of who we are and what we stand for as a community," du Bain said.

Conway-Allen was initially reported missing around 5:45 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 31, by her guardian at the foster home where she lived.

Her body was discovered in Allan Witt Park just before 7 a.m. the next morning by a passer-by.

Several anonymous individuals claiming to be friends of Conway-Allen identified her several days later.

Fairfield police declined to provide any further information on Friday's arrest.

Jones was booked into Solano County Jail for murder, kidnapping to commit rape, rape and lewd or lascivious acts on a child; he is being held with no bail, Solano County sheriff's Lt. Brad De Wall said. Jones' arraignment is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 13 at 1:30 p.m.

  3. When I think of great civilizations in history, African nations immediately come to the top of the list!

    Or not.

I don't know. The Great Pyramid of Giza was only the world's tallest man-made structure for 3,800 years, give or take a few years. Pretty bad ass if you ask me.

  5. Actually, straw wasn't known in Africa before colonial times. Europeans taught them how to build huts like that. Africans didn't have a clue about what to do with dried grass.

She wasn't even wearing make-up. The vicious beast who took her life deserves to be tortured to death.
