separate issue. The wage market is what the wage market is. Government supplimental incomes is a social issue. I take stock with the idea that a business isn't viable if it can't pay a "living wage."
Btw - you might not be aware, but Trump floated the idea of allowing work camps where labor laws including wages could be skirted in economically depressed towns. My friend who ran an workforce training business was invited to the proposal hearing. Obviously the idea was scrapped.
These laws don't hurt big businesses. They hurt small businesses. FMLA can put a small business out because they can't afford to have 2 people in 1 role, where as a big business can have 35 people for 30 people's jobs.
Heh...there's literally nothing you can say that will make me lose my shit. And I'm being drop dead serious here, my friend. Say whatever you feel like. As for your comment, I actually agree. But those people shouldn't expect a government handout. That's my point.
It's been constantly a mirage. One of us has certainly been tricked here, that's for sure. Tell me, what's the U6 unemployment rate, and - once you figure that out - tell me how you can call that "maximum employment". Hell, let's start at the U5! hint: https://www.bls.gov/news.release/empsit.t15.htm
If all they add to the economy is a bunch low wage government dependent employees they should go out of business.
The wage market is not a free wage market when one company pays it employees healthcare and high enough wages their employees don't qualify for benefits like food stamps and another company does not so the government has to pay that company's employees 500 a month Obamacare credit and 300.00 dollars in food stamps.
Im only voting for Trump to punish Biden and Democrats for not fighting for things like a higher min wage, medicaid option for all etc.
That's a good idea. Vote for the guy who hates government regulation to punish the guy who is trying.
