Maybe better would be "the chemo killed the cancer, and so i should keep taking chemo"

Unions were instrumental in creating workplace safety standards. Now OSHA does a good job of that.

 

It’s a very interesting time we live in. There is a big disconnect between data and personal sentiment on many issues. But generally speaking the data shows more people have access to things like flexible work schedules and higher salaries and much of this is due to technology.

 

It’s a big coincidence that we are discussing thins while the March jobs report surprised to the upside.

 

Not a good analogy. To exploit others (and overeat) are parts of (some) human natures and do not "go away" like cancer.

 

If true than our Gini coefficient should be falling.

 

A wage increase from $16 to $20 also brings in more tax dollars to the state

 

Gotta say great job by Newsom.Most democrats say they support a higher minimum wage but would never actually support a bill like this.

 

We need to expand ownership of our existing stock of businesses, not wages per se.
