California dreamin'

  1. If California needs revenue it's got to come within California. When I go there, it seems like a quarter of the world's Mercedes are there - with chrome hubcaps. And the number of billionaires there may exceed even NY.

The money is there. Don't go asking me for it.

You are WRONG, WRONG, WRONG....about the mosquitoes, that is. Austin is about the only place that mosquitoes are kept under control by all the bats, that live under the Town Lake bridge. :p Stosh

  7. Are there still bats out at bee caves and out on 620?

I grew up in Austin...the place is not unfamiliar to me.

I spent 6 years in school there in the 60's and 70's. It was really great then....getting a little crowded now. I think there are still bats at Bee Caves... I'm going to spend a week there next month and I will inquire about the bats. Also the women don't have that big hair anymore.......they will stack up pretty well against those California girls. Hook 'em, Stosh
